Transitional living for survivors and families of sexual assault, domestic violence, or stalking.
New Beginnings provides transitional living for survivors and families of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. We offer families a safe, community-based living environment, for up to a year. We are located in Farmington, New Mexico.
The emphasis is breaking the cycle of violence, being safe and becoming independent. Support services include helping residents locate and secure permanent housing and employment while providing life skills and independent living assistance. Our mission is to help survivors and their families learn to heal and thrive.
Survivors and families of sexual assault, domestic violence, or stalking, who don’t have temporary or permanent housing, are eligible.
Childcare Program: New Beginnings has a Childcare program for those benefitting from our transitional living program and for children in the community. Our childcare center has an emotional and behavioral focus, allowing our highly trained staff to help children navigate through their unique needs. More info at Childcare Center.
Out of School Program: New Beginnings is helping youth to re-engage, reconnect and thrive. This year we will be expanding our program so children can receive schoolwork help, tutoring and mentoring while in a supervised and safe environment. Find out more at Out of School Program
